The workflow of the 962P LHD Laser Edge Banding Machine With Horizontal Alignment Function is as follows:

Applying a separating agent → The edge banding machine performs high-speed milling on the side of the board to be edge banded, removing dust → A conveyor transports the board to a preheating station, where it is uniformly heated to a suitable temperature → A high-power laser generator emits a beam of light, which is precisely focused onto the functional layer on the back of the edge banding tape through a lens assembly → Almost simultaneously, a heavy-duty precision pressure roller system presses the edge banding tape onto the edge of the board with enormous pressure. The molten functional layer fully penetrates and integrates with the wood fibers under pressure → The molten functional layer rapidly solidifies under natural cooling and assisted air cooling, forming a strong "riveting" mechanical connection with the board. The component undergoes a series of finishing units, including trimming, rough trimming, fine trimming, edge scraping, and polishing, removing excess material and refining the top, bottom, and end faces of the edge banding tape to make it seamlessly integrated with the board surface → Finally, a cleaning device is usually provided to remove processing residues.

The 962P LHD Laser Edge Banding Machine With Horizontal Alignment Function can use two different types of hot melt adhesive: EVA and PUR. This eliminates the need for frequent adhesive changes, increasing production flexibility. The dual-pot system allows for flexible selection of the appropriate adhesive based on factors such as the thickness and material of the edge banding strip, thereby improving edge banding quality. The dual-pot system also allows for precise control of the amount of each adhesive used, reducing adhesive waste and thus lowering production costs.

High-speed servo horizontal trimmer: Primarily responsible for neatly cutting both ends of the edge banding strip, ensuring it is flush with the edge of the board.

 

The high-precision control of the servo motor enables extremely high cutting accuracy. Its equipped encoder accurately monitors the motor's rotation angle and displacement, thereby precisely controlling the movement of the cutting blade.

 

The servo motor can precisely adjust the cutting blade's movement speed based on the material and thickness of the edge banding strip, as well as the operating speed of the edge banding machine.
